Senator John Fetterman recently accompanied Vice President Harris on a visit to Pennsylvania counties that were won by double digits by Trump in 2020. Fetterman emphasized the importance of Democrats engaging with red counties where Trump remains popular. He highlighted the need to reach out to voters in places like Cambria, Erie, Wilkes-Barre, and Bucks County to convey the message of Harris and Walls as a new way forward for Pennsylvania.
Despite the prevalence of Trump signs and enthusiasm for the current administration in these areas, Fetterman believes that a significant portion of Pennsylvanians will resonate with the vision presented by Harris and Walls. He acknowledged that while fracking remains an issue of concern for voters, it may not be the defining issue in the upcoming election.
