The Senate Judiciary Committee will punt its vote on Todd Blanche’s bid to permanently head the Justice Department, after GOP holdouts on the panel said they weren’t satisfied.
Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, wants to nail down changes to a controversial settlement that created a $1.8 billion “weaponization” compensation fund before moving ahead with the panel’s vote, which had been scheduled for Thursday.
