Lanarkshire train services affected by a train derailment in Coatbridge are back to normal.
Lanarkshire Live previously reported on how the train, which didn't have any passengers on board at the time, came off the tracks between Coatbridge Sunnyside and Airdrie stations last Friday in what ScotRail described as an "operational incident".
Network Rail has now re-opened the railway through Coatbridge Sunnyside and normal service has resumed after engineers worked around-the-clock throughout the weekend to rerail the train and repair significant damage to the track.
