The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office issued a brief statement in response to President-elect Donald Trump’s announcement regarding the withdrawal of Sheriff Chad Chronister from consideration for the position of leading the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The statement released by the Sheriff’s Office affirmed Sheriff Chronister’s decision to withdraw from the consideration for the role. The Sheriff emphasized that his primary focus, both currently and for the past seven years, remains dedicated to the mission of protecting and serving the residents of Hillsborough County.
