In the space of a couple of months Sammy Silvera has reinvented himself and saved his career in English football.
Now as he returns to the Socceroos squad - and with an eye on next year's World Cup - the 24-year-old is eager to prove he belongs at international level.
A winger by trade, Silvera signed a $2million deal to join English Championship side Middlesbrough from the Central Coast Mariners in 2023.
