South Sydney are confident Alex Johnston has avoided a serious shoulder injury, after the winger failed to finish his comeback match against Penrith.
Playing in his first match since rupturing his achilles tendon last August, Johnston was hurt in the ninth minute on Thursday when he landed awkwardly while scoring a try.
