COLOMBO: Sri Lanka will suspend share trading for all of next week to avoid a possible stock market collapse, as its economic crisis deepens and protests against the government spread.
The announcement on Saturday came after the crisis-hit country almost doubled interest rates and declared a default on its external debt during the traditional New Year holiday.
