Adam Peaty has broken his silence after confirming his split from girlfriend of three years, Eiri Munro.

The Strictly Come Dancing star, 27, took to Instagram on Tuesday to apologise to Eiri, 24, and their two-year-old son George as he admitted that he had 'let them down'.

The Olympic diver, who was partnered with professional dancer Katya Jones on Strictly, posted a lengthy message alongside a photo of the family-of-three.
