May NY world sugar #11 (SBK25) today is down -0.11 (-0.61%), and May London ICE white sugar #5 (SWK25) is down -2.10 (-0.40%).

Sugar prices today are moderately lower, with NY sugar falling to a 2-3/4 month low.  Sugar prices are under pressure due to worries that demand for sugar will decline as the escalation of the global trade war increases tariffs that boost sugar prices for consumers.  China raised tariffs on all US goods Friday to 125% from 84% in retaliation for the US raising tariffs on Chinese goods to 145%.
