Gold Coast's prized AFL youngster Mac Andrew has been charged with drink driving and will face court and a club-imposed sanction in January.

The Suns confirmed Andrew, the No.5 draft pick in 2021, had failed a roadside blood alcohol test in the early hours of Saturday morning.
