Devin Booker is eligible for a lucrative two-year contract extension this offseason. The deal could be for $149.8 million. Booker is currently in the middle of a supermax extension he signed in the 2022 offseason for $220 million that kicked in this season. Despite a rough year for the Phoenix Suns which saw them miss the playoffs with a win-loss record of 36-46, Devin Booker could be a rare case of a player staying with the team that drafted them for the entirety of their career in today’s NBA.
“I haven’t even thought about it to be honest,” Booker said in an interview with The Arizona Republic. “It’s a great situation to be in, though. Longevity in this league. Every year you can get, somebody wants you for an extra year or two, that’s always a pleasure. You never know when the game is going to stop.”
