Late last month it was revealed that the Super Formula calendar will be made up of just nine races in 2023, one fewer than this year, with the August Motegi fixture being run as a single-race event.
The increase in the number of races from seven to 10 for 2022 was well-received in the paddock, and championship promoter JRP suggested that the number of double-headers could increase in future seasons.
