NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday extended deadline for demolition of Supertech's twin towers in Noida till August 28.

Supertech twin tower demolition agency, Edifice Engineering, told the SC that it would require three months deferment of May 22 demolition deadline as the test blast revealed structure is stronger than anticipated.

A bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and PS Narasimha passed the order on an application filed by Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) seeking an extension of the timeline.
