A couple who have "been through thick and thin" got engaged with a surprise public proposal at the Grand National at Aintree racecourse today.
Jordan Paget, 27, proposed to Sarah McGuiness, 28, on the Lord Daresbury Roof on the third-day of the Grand National Festival 2023. The couple shared the magical moment in front of friends and spectators, reports The Echo.
Jordan said: "I thought the best option was at the Grand National - you couldn’t do it at a better place. I thought do it here while she’s dressed up and our mates are around.
