NAGPUR: Talk about sweet 16s. The end of the 16th week of online rapid chess tournaments played exclusively for world's top Grandmasters turned out to be super sweet for city's first GM Raunak Sadhwani, who dished out the best performance by an Indian. He missed the yellow metal by a whisker.
While Raunak won the Swiss event on tiebreak ahead of GMs Hikaru Nakamura, Fabiano Caruana, Daniil Dubov, Le Quang Liem and Vladimir Fedoseev, Maharashtra's youngest GM went down in the final knockout round to finish second in the 16th week of the rapid meet played on chess.com.
