  • Tesla has launched a replacement programme to swap affected Powerwall 2 units free of charge for customers.
  • The company has already remotely discharged most of the affected battery units and is in the process of discharging any remaining ones.
  • Customers are advised to keep their systems online and check the Tesla app to confirm whether their battery requires a replacement.
