A core part of gameplay in Overwatch is counter-picking or choosing heroes for your team who have abilities that nullify or outperform those on the enemy team.
Few heroes have a real “hard counter” that they should consistently avoid in Overwatch. This doesn’t mean some heroes cannot be more successful in any situation than others, but rather that you’ll have to be proficient at playing the character to get around their strongest counters.
