Plans worth over £50 million have been unveiled aimed to transform Caerphilly town centre.

The ambitious strategy will take place over a 15-year period and will include a new boutique hotel, a new leisure centre and a £30 million station.

It includes £5 million plans to turn Caerphilly Castle into a big tourist attraction complete with a new visitor centre, which was announced in 2021.
