Dayton Webber, a 27 year old Maryland cornhole player and quadruple amputee, was arrested after Charles County investigators alleged he shot and killed Bradrick Wells during an argument inside a car in La Plata on Sunday night before heading into Virginia, where police later found him at a hospital.
Webber was not an obscure local name before this case. He had already been profiled as a professional cornhole player in the American Cornhole League and by ESPN, which traced his story back to a bacterial infection at 10 months old that led to the loss of all four limbs.
