Twenty-five years after the iconic romcom Legally Blonde first introduced audiences to the relentlessly optimistic Elle Woods, Prime Video is turning back the clock to explore the making of one of pop culture's most beloved screen heroines.
Elle, an eight-episode prequel series that premiered globally on July 1, takes viewers back to 1995 -- six years before Elle famously heads to Harvard Law School -- to uncover the experiences that shaped her unwavering confidence, compassion and determination.
Set during Elle's high school years, the series follows the 16-year-old as her seemingly perfect life is upended when her family relocates from affluent Southern California to Seattle.
