South Australia has been told LIV Golf will continue next year as Adelaide takes another slice of the sport with hosting rights for the men's Australian Open.

Adelaide will host men's and women's Opens alternately for six years from from 2028, with a redeveloped North Adelaide golf course slated as the venue.
