Arne Engels started for Belgium last night against Italy in their Nations League Group B encounter, after which the Celtic midfielder received a number of plaudits from Belgian media.

Engels was subbed off on 73 minutes for 19-year-old RB Leipzig midfielder, Arthur Vermeeren, with La Libre Belgique also saying: "Engels proved that he is ready for the highest level and can become a mainstay in the Red Devils' midfield."
