The 28th edition of the Deloitte Money League, covering the 2023-24 season, was released last week and reveals Tottenham to be top of the wages-to-turnover table, their 42 per cent ratio comfortably lower than any other leading club in Europe.

The next English side on the list is Arsenal at 53 per cent, while Chelsea came in at 73 per cent and Aston Villa had the highest of the clubs analysed, with an alarming 96 per cent.
