AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat high court issued notice to software giant Microsoft Corporation after a local information technology company, Azure Knowledge Corporation Pvt Ltd, filed an appeal seeking to restrain the US company from using its trademark ‘Azure’.
The issue reached the high court after a city civil court refused to grant an interim injunction on Azure’s request and restrain Microsoft from committing alleged infringement on the local firm’s trademark rights.
