BIZARRE: Train passengers urinate on floor as power cut leaves them stuck for hours - You Need To See This

Travellers have claimed they were made to endure a “nightmare” journey on a Northern train after a power cut, with passengers “urinating on the floor” and “no-one announcing what was going on".

The breakdown happened on a 9.30pm train headed to Wilmslow via Manchester Piccadilly from Liverpool, on May 7.

One frustrated traveller told the Manchester Evening News that the train descended into chaos at around 10.15pm when it suddenly stopped and appeared to suffer a power cut, with “all the electricity” going off.
