A woman found dead alongside her partner has been described as a "darling" who will be "treasured forever".

Katie Higton, 27, who was a mental health nurse, has been named locally as the woman who was found dead at a property in Dalton, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire yesterday.

It's understood that the mum-of-four and her boyfriend Steven Harnett were found by police at 9.53am after suffering serious injuries. A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
