President Donald Trump announced plans to speak with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday morning, just ahead of the impending US tariffs on Canada. Trump expressed his expectations for the discussions, stating that he anticipates no significant developments and emphasized the importance of the tariffs in addressing outstanding debts.
Trudeau, on the other hand, revealed that his attempts to contact Trump since the inauguration have gone unanswered, highlighting a potential strain in communication between the two leaders.
