The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) is urgently scaling up its emergency response in Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes which took place last month, providing life-saving protection, emergency relief assistance and shelter support to thousands of people affected by the disaster.
Thousands of people have been killed or injured, and countless families have lost their homes and livelihoods.
UNHCR staff are on the ground, working with authorities and humanitarian partners to rapidly deliver emergency shelter, relief items and protection services to those most in need.
