A huge surprise of John Daly / Rich Beem / Shaun Micheel proportions is on the cards! Mito Pereira, the 27-year-old from Chile on PGA Championship debut, is in pole position to lift the Wanamaker Trophy tomorrow! Can Matt Fitzpatrick, Will Zalatoris, Cameron Young, Abraham Ancer or Seamus Power pip him, and cause a shock of their own? A huge day of drama awaits! Hope you’ll join us. Nighty night!

Mito Pereira nervelessly rolls in his 20-foot birdie putt! It never looked like missing! That’s a huge step towards glory tomorrow ... and a huge blow for the chasing pack! Like Zalatoris, he spent a good portion of the round threatening to crumble, but he recovered brilliantly with three birdies over the last six holes. A 69, and at -9, he takes a three-stroke lead into the final day. Can he possibly be as calm tomorrow, when the realisation of what he’s about to achieve snaps into sharp focus? It’s going to be fun finding out!
