LUCKNOW: In a first of its kind initiative, the state urban development minister has set up a dedicated command centre at the directorate to real-time monitoring of cleaning and sold waste disposal work in cities.
The urban development department also increased the daily allowance of the contractual workers deputed for sweeping the roads to motivate the staff in ensuring cleanliness and achieve desired results.
