People are being warned of a deadly caterpillar that could make people ill and can even cause death in dogs.
A species of toxic caterpillar has been spotted across the country. The pesky insects, called brown-tail moth caterpillars, can cause skin irritation and potential breathing problems in humans, and even worse symptoms in dogs.
The caterpillars can trigger a variety of potentially deadly problems such as digestive issues and lesions. The bugs feed on shrubbery, also causing trees and bushes to lose their leaves.
