UNCOVERED: Water business backed by steven gerrard on brink of going bust | History Defined

A water business endorsed by Steven Gerrard could be dissolved within two months.

Mr Gerrard became a brand ambassador for Angel Revive after he was approached by Merseyside businessman Mark Doyle. Mr Doyle, 43, who owned King Construction, launched a water business after he discovered a natural spring of water in Mawdesley, West Lancashire.

According to Mr Doyle, when he finally dug down to the rock face of the spring, he found an angel-like shape in the stone, which inspired the name of the company. Mr Doyle, originally from Netherton, later invested around £1m in the business.
