The world is losing the battle against climate change, the head of the United Nations warned Monday, and it will soon be too late to undo the damage being inflicted on the planet.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres issued the unnerving alert to audiences at the COP27 climate conference in Egypt, telling delegates that “we are in the fight of our lives, and we are losing.”
