More than 200 passengers and 17 crew members on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 cruise ship have contracted norovirus.
The CDC reported the outbreak, which began on March 18th, during the ship's month-long Caribbean cruise.
Cunard implemented enhanced sanitation protocols, isolated affected individuals, and is working with the CDC to address the situation.
The ship, scheduled to arrive in Southampton, UK on April 6th, has seen a reduction in reported cases following these measures.
This incident is among several norovirus outbreaks reported on cruise ships this year.
