The wheat complex is continuing the recent pressure on Wednesday. Chicago SRW futures are trading with 12 to 13 cent losses so far on the day. KC HRW futures are slipping 6 to 7 cents in the front months on Wednesday. MPLS spring wheat is showing 6 to 8 ¼ cent losses at midday.
Crop Progress data showed the US spring wheat crop at 89% planted, 7 percentage points ahead of the 5-year average pace of 79%. Emergence was pegged at 56%. Montana was the only state to lag behind their normal emergence.
