BBC's MasterChef: The Professionals will crown its 2022 winner tonight [Sunday, December 11] after whittling down the contestants to just three finalists. Those left in the competition will take on their last challenges in order to impress Gregg Wallace, Marus Wareing and Anna Haugh, who replaced long-serving judge Monica Galetti for the new series.
The new season started on Wednesday, November 2 with the first round of heats and a whopping 32 new chefs all hoping to impress in the kitchen, but after six weeks of challenges, just three contestants remain in the competition.
This year Wales had not just one chef, but two brilliant chefs to represent our gorgeous country. Mathew Griffiths from Chester, who was a private chef on a superyacht, appeared in episode 11 but didn't quite make it through to the quarter-finals after some issues with his dessert.
