NEW DELHI: Entering the Test series against England, Shubman Gill faced a dual challenge -- a lean patch spanning nine innings and the pressure of adjusting to his new No.3 slot in the longest format.
However, three Tests into the ongoing series against England, Gill has managed to overcome the hurdles. The top-order batter has 252 runs to his name at an average of 42, including a crucial 104 in Visakhapatnam and a stylish 91 in Rajkot, both contributing significantly to his team's success.
