Home and garden retailer wilko is now welcoming pets in 248 of its stores across the country.
The chain trialled the idea in two of its shops and now says, after a successful pilot, furry friends will now be allowed into more than two thirds of its locations, although they won't be allowed in food aisles.
Wilko said it expected most would be dogs or cats.
