REVEALED: Woman strangled to death in thane cops probe property angle | Vintage Vibes

KALYAN: A 58-year-old divorcee was found strangled to death in her Dombivli (E) flat early on Monday. Police said a gold chain, a ring and two bangles were missing from her body.

The deceased, Vijaya Baviskar, lived alone in a rented apartment at Anand Sheela society in Tilak Chowk area as the bungalow where she resided is being redeveloped into a six-storey building. Police said Baviskar was managing her father's properties, including two shops in a shopping centre, and would share the rent received with her three sisters. Sources said that Baviskar had also split the money received from the redevelopment project with her sisters.
