NEW DELHI: Indian mixed doubles team of Manika Batra and G Sathiyan secured a spot in the semifinals of the WTT Contender tournament in Tunis. The pair defeated the German duo of Cedric Meissner and Yuan Wan in a 3-0 straight-set win on Friday.

In the quarter-final encounter, which lasted just 21 minutes, Batra and Sathiyan displayed exceptional skill and coordination, clinching a 11-8, 11-3, 11-8 win.
