They still have those. My kids had em at their schools. My oldest daughter preschool class was in one of those back in 2007. Nowdays it's usually for the elementary schools that still has em. My youngest daughter started 4th grade in a different state back in 2017 and her new elementary school had 2 of those one for ISS and the other for preK. They are still around especially in the upstate SC where I live... too many little kids not enough schools

Meanwhile us Gen Xers and Elder Millennials still had their "cassette tapes" for their walkmans. We made CASSETTE TAPE mixes not burning CDs into a CD-R mixes. Most cars back then still had tape players not CD players and the CD players didn't recognize CD-R or CD-RW until the 2000s. My first CD-R I made in 2001 not long after I had gotten married but wouldn't play in the CD player in a 1996 Grand Am it didn't recognize it lol

Mocospace did too both sites came out in the same year and CherryTap came out in 2006(I'm still a member on there 20 yrs later but it's called "Fubar" now and it's adults only site) Vampire Freaks also had the music you could link up to your profile back in the late 2000s and so did Zwinky(Avatar Chat world for goths and emos back in the late 2000s that also had games to play)
