T'PURAM: As many as 29 students across the state suffered food poisoning after consuming food from their schools on Saturday.

A government school in Kayamkulam in Alappuzha district saw 26 students seeking medical assistance at various hospitals after developing symptoms of food poisoning. Three children of an anganwadi in Kalluvathukkal ward of Kottarakkara developed diarrhoea on different days, allegedly after consuming food served at the anganwadi.
