Vanderbilt got the jump on Alabama on Saturday in Tennessee.

The Commodores surged to a 13-0 lead, courtesy of a rushing touchdown and pick-six of ‘Bama QB Jalen Milroe.

Randon Fontenette made the pick and returned it 25 yards for the score. The Commodores must have been stunned by their prosperity and double-digit lead because they missed the PAT.

Alabama regained its composure and went 75 yards in seven plays to cut the deficit to 13-7 after the PAT.
