A Moscow court has handed down a sentence of six years and 10 months to American citizen Stephen Hubbard, aged 72, for his alleged involvement in fighting as a mercenary for Ukraine. The verdict was delivered on Monday and was reported by Russian state media.
Hubbard, who hails from Michigan, was accused of participating in combat activities against Russia in exchange for financial compensation. He reportedly admitted to the charges of being a mercenary last month, as per the information provided by Russian state media.
