A BODY has been found in the search for an 82-year-old woman who had been reported missing from Aberdeen.
Around 4.25pm on Thursday, police said they were made aware the body of a woman had been found in a field near to Kintore, Inverurie.
Formal identification is still to take place, although the family of 82-year-old Alice Mitchell has been made aware.
She had last been seen around 11pm on Monday, September 9 in the Forrit Brae area of Bucksburn.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
