The incident happened on Laytonia Avenue, Cardiff, where the driver is said to have been delivering parcels at the time. He was then carried by the vehicle before it came to a stop 0.6 miles away near Cathays High School. North Road was closed for several hours in connection with the incident.

Mark was taken to University Hospital Wales where he was treated for a brain injury and "multiple lacerations across the body", a court previously heard. Christopher Elgifari, 31, appeared in court charged with attempted murder on March 31.
