For those not familiar with the brand - and there are still plenty of golfers out there who won't be - NOBULL was founded in 2015 by Reebok veterans Marcus Wilson and Michael Schaeffer. It has become the dominant brand in CrossFit, a form of high intensity interval training and over the last few years has developed golf apparel and shoes as well.
NOBULL's vision is to create more high performance premium products for golf, so don't be surprised to see more pros wearing these eye-catching shoes, as well as club golfers, especially the latest NOBULL Leather golf shoe, which got some noticeable design tweaks from the original which came out in 2023.

The first thing to say is I think they look fantastic. Obviously I think many might be put off slightly by the NOBULL logo on the side really standing out, but it didn't bother me in the slightest. The leather design really looks classy in the almost off-white finish I tested, keeping it very simple and getting rid of the somewhat fussy tongue design on the previous model. Instead the aesthetic keeps off a premium vibe I am a big fan of.
So, how did they perform? Well I was lucky enough to get a range of weather conditions in testing thanks to the UK's unique climate. In wet and greasy conditions the shoes performed much better than I expected because of the outsole. Traditionally spikeless shoes can struggle for stability and traction in the wet, meaning spiked shoes are usually the way to go, but the NOBULL design performed very well indeed. It's possible they actually offer even better grip when there's a bit of moisture underfoot - that's what it felt like.

What's also worth pointing out is the width on the upper. If you're someone looking for more room, I'd say that these are one of the best golf shoes for wide feet. The room and comfort at the forefoot was noticeable, which I think a lot of golfers will like.

Speaking of which I have to mention the comfort as a whole next. As I would expect from a brand that makes a lot of shoes for working out and strenuous activities, the feel of the shoe was outstanding. The leather is super soft and comfortable right out of the box and whilst my problem area can be towards the heel when testing new shoes, there were no such issues here. I would say these are in the conversation for one of the most comfortable golf shoes on the market at the moment in fact.

Finally the shoe comes in one size at the moment, the white leather pictured here, but it comes in a variety of sizes. Additionally i should note that I found them to be very easy to clean which may not sound like a big deal but I'm someone who always likes my shoes to look as clean as possible, so this is a big plus.
To summarise, these shoes are going to see a lot of action this season because of the performance in any conditions, and they go with pretty much any outfit.
