YOU WONT BELIEVE: The queensway tunnel will be closed for four days at certain hours - You Need To See This

Drivers who use The Queensway Tunnel will need to find an alternate route at certain times over the next four days.

Arriva announced that the tunnel to Birkenhead will be closed from today, Monday, June 20, to Friday, June 24. The tunnel will be closed to all traffic between the hours of 9pm and 6.30am for essential maintenance works.

During the closure of the Queensway (Birkenhead) Mersey Tunnel, the Kingsway (Wallasey) Mersey Tunnel will remain fully open in both directions. Services will be able to use the Kingsway Tunnel until the maintenance is finished.
