UNCOVERED: Vizhinjam port to begin full exim operations from august 18 | History Defined

Thiruvananthapuram: The Vizhinjam International Seaport will commence full export-import (EXIM) operations from August 18, marking its transition from a transshipment hub to a full-fledged international cargo gateway, the Kerala government said on Saturday.

Chief Minister V D Satheesan will flag off the first export container, following which the state government will organise the 'Mission Samudra' Business Summit, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).
