The Sherwin-Williams Company (SHW) is the world’s largest paint and coatings manufacturer and is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. With a market cap of $86.6 billion, it operates over 5,000 stores and serves customers across more than 120 countries. Its business is divided into three key segments: Paint Stores Group, Consumer Brands Group, and Performance Coatings Group, with well-known brands like Valspar, Krylon, and Minwax under its umbrella.
The chemicals giant is expected to announce its second-quarter results before the markets open on Tuesday, July 22. Ahead of the event, analysts expect SHW to deliver adjusted earnings of $3.76 per share, up 1.6% from $3.70 per share reported in the year-ago quarter. While the company has surpassed the Street’s bottom-line estimates in three of the past four quarters, it has missed the expectations on another occasion.
